Talks

The society offers members a monthly horticultural talk by professional speakers.  The talks cover a broad range of topics. The talks take place in St. Mildred's Church Hall at 7pm.  Members pay £3 to attend the talks.  Visitors pay £5.

Christine Wolfe owns Southeast Flowers based in Ashford, which is a family-owned wholesale flower company that specialises in importing and directly supplying fresh cut flowers, plants and floral sundries throughout the UK.  They are dedicated to providing customers with top quality wholesale flowers sourced from various countries around the world.  Their belief is that flowers have the ability to make every day and every occasion an unforgettable experience.  She will be talking to the Society about the organization, the supply of flowers and sources, how they are packaged and transported and all the accompanying issues.
