Annual Charity Plant Sale
Each May Bank Holiday the Society holds an annual plant sale on Tesco's forecourt. This year we held the sale on the 25th of May. The Society has made donations to many local charities in the past. The sale continues to attract a large number of customers each year.
This year's Charity Plant Sale was successful as usual. We made £3004.55 for our two chosen charities: Christmas Cheer/The Big Wrap and Citizens Advice Bureau. Many thanks to all those members who grew plants for the sale, bought plants at the sale and helped out on the day. Many, many thanks to Tesco for letting us use their forecourt to hold the sale.
